Delhi Metro : In a major relief for Delhi residents, the railway administration has announced the construction of a new metro corridor, which will be part of Phase 4 of the Delhi Metro. The newly announced Lajpat Nagar–Saket G Block Corridor will connect Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block, covering a stretch of approximately 7.3 kilometers. The entire construction is expected to be completed within three years.
For the first time, the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been assigned responsibility for executing a Delhi Metro project. RVNL has shared detailed information about the corridor, including the proposed station list and construction type. All stations on this route will be elevated platforms, meaning they will be built above ground level on viaducts or similar structures.

According to the Managing Director of RVNL, this project aligns with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s (DMRC) vision of creating a world-class urban transport system.
